KMP Warranty Provisions
WARRANTY DECLARATION
All our products are, of course, covered by the statutory warranty of two years. In addition, we are pleased to offer our customers a three-year warranty on our inks and toners in accordance with the provisions listed below.
§1 – STATUTORY WARRANTY
1. Our customers have the choice of whether subsequent performance should be carried out by repair or replacement. Please bear in mind, however, that we are entitled to refuse the type of subsequent delivery chosen if this is only possible with disproportionate costs and the other type of subsequent performance remains without significant disadvantages for you.
2. However, should our attempts to remedy the defect fail, or should a subsequent delivery not be possible or only possible within an unreasonably long period of time, you can either demand a reduction of the purchase price (so-called reduction), withdraw from the contract (so-called withdrawal) or demand damages instead of the actual service from us.
3. In all other respects, the statutory provisions on warranty shall apply.
§2 – GUARANTEE
1. In addition to the statutory warranty for consumers of 2 years, we offer a total of 3 years warranty on our inks, toners in accordance with these provisions. The warranty period is 3 years and begins on the day of purchase of our product.
2. If you wish to invoke the warranty case against us, you must return the goods to us no later than 14 days after the occurrence of the warranty case. In this case, you must initially bear the shipping costs yourself.
3. Should our incoming inspection then reveal a warranty case in accordance with these provisions, and we send you a replacement, we will reimburse you for the postage costs for the cheapest shipping method. We recommend contacting customer service beforehand. Please enclose a copy of the original invoice with the complaint. Please understand that we must reject a complaint without enclosing the respective invoice, as we can only calculate the warranty period on the basis of this proof.
4. The warranty covers the warranted characteristics of our products, as stated in our performance/article descriptions. The warranty excludes in particular wear and tear, the consumption of the goods, or defects that have occurred due to circumstances that have arisen due to improper use or due to conduct that is not within our area of responsibility.
5. If a replacement of the same model is no longer possible, we are free to supply you with a corresponding successor model in this case.
6. The 3-year warranty granted by us does not therefore cover, in particular, damage or defects resulting from improper use, improper and/or non-intended handling, storage and/or failure to observe the instructions. We also exclude our warranty in cases where the defects have arisen because the respective instructions for use have not been followed. We also reserve the right to first check the products you send in to see whether they meet the warranty requirements standardized here.
7. Furthermore, we would like to point out that we do not extend the warranty period itself in the event of a warranty claim. Of course, we cannot grant a new warranty period of another 3 years in these cases either. However, the remaining warranty period for the product originally purchased from us will continue to exist.
8. Returns of printer cartridges and toners that are no longer used, which are still completely in their original packaging and undamaged, will be handled as before.
§3 – LIABILITY UNDER THE PRODUCT LIABILITY ACT Our liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected by the above rules, of course, insofar as the respective prerequisites exist that enable corresponding claims.
Our warranty provisions apply in the European Union.
